FROM POINTS NORTH AND SOUTH: Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) to Exit 24 (Route 30). Proceed east on Route 30, also known as Commonwealth Avenue, and follow for about five miles to Boston College.
FROM POINTS WEST: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. At the first set of lights after the exit ramp, take a right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street to the fourth set of lights, and turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. Follow Commonwealth Avenue 1.5 miles to Boston College.
FROM DOWNTOWN BOSTON: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) to Exit 17. Take a left over the bridge after passing the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Take the first right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street to the fourth set of lights, and turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. Follow Commonwealth Avenue 1.5 miles to Boston College.
The Massachusetts Bay Transit System (MBTA), called the T, is trolley system that travels above and below ground. The different lines of the T are color-coded. Boston College is located at the end of the "B" line branch of the T's Green Line. One-way fares are $2.00 and travel time from downtown Boston outbound to Boston College is approximately 45 minutes. Once you exit the T at Boston College, cross to the other side of the street (Commonwealth Avenue) and walk up the hill to the right to the Main Gate. Enter campus at Main Gate and walk down Linden Lane. Devlin Hall is located to the back and left of Gasson Hall (the building with the tower).

FROM LOGAN AIRPORT: Take the Silver Line of the T to South Station. Exit the Silver Line at South Station and take the Red Line of the T towards Alewife to Park Street Station. Exit the T at Park Street Station and take the outbound B line of the Green Line to Boston College (the last stop). Estimated travel time: 1 hour and 40 minutes. Please note that the most direct route to Boston College using public transportation is currently inaccessible due to construction at the Government Center T Station. The fastest way to get to campus from Logan Airport is by taxi.
FROM SOUTH STATION: Take the Red Line of the T towards Alewife to Park Street Station. Exit the T at Park Street Station and take the outbound B line of the Green Line to Boston College (the last stop). Estimated travel time: 1 hour and 12 minutes

Despite our name, Boston College is located in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Newton, Massachusetts. Our campus is approximately six miles west of downtown Boston. Therefore, it is important that you put the correct town and/or zip code when you are entering our address into GPS navigation or Google Maps.
Once you have parked, please remember to take your parking ticket with you so you can pay at the kiosk.
FOR THE BEACON STREET GARAGE: Use the intersection of Beacon and Chestnut Hill Drive, Brighton, MA 02135. Head away from the reservoir (west) on Beacon Street and the Beacon Street garage will be on your right.
FOR THE COMMONWEALTH AVENUE GARAGE: Use the intersection of St. Thomas More Road and Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill, MA 02467. From St. Thomas More Road, take Campanella Way to the Commonwealth Avenue Garage.
PAY STATION PAYMENT OPTION AND PAY STATION LOCATIONS
- Beacon Street Garage: second floor next to the exit.
- Commonwealth Avenue Garage: first- and fifth-floor elevator lobbies.
Payment may be made with cash, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. Once payment is made, the pay station will disburse a validated ticket to be used at the exit gate.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENT AND GARAGE EXIT PROCESS
Payment by Visa, MasterCard, or American Express can occur at the gate, without the need to take your ticket to the pay stations. Follow the directions at the payment column before exiting the garage.
FOR THE MAIN GATE: Use 140 Commonwealth Avenue, Chestnut Hill, MA. Please note that parking is extremely limited on Middle Campus. We strongly encourage you to park in one of the two parking garages.
