Welcome to the William F. Connell School of Nursing at Boston College, where we are committed to preparing nurses to be leaders. We invite you to join your peers in obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary to transform nursing, both in the United States and globally.
Situated in Boston, the Connell School offers students clinical experiences at the best hospitals and community agencies in the United States including Children's Hospital Boston, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the Dana Farber Cancer institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, the Visiting Nurse Association of Boston and many other excellent health care sites.
Our faculty members are internationally recognized experts in their fields of scientific inquiry, committed to developing the clinical science that will transform health care. The Connell School is working locally and globally to improve health through clinical and interdisciplinary partnerships, including being the nursing arm of the exciting new Harvard Catalyst program to translate clinical science more rapidly to the bedside. Connell School faculty members are passionate about advancing nursing science through the next generation of nurses, dedicated to providing first-rate, individual attention to each student and are equally passionate about producing the science that will help nurses transform health care efficiently and effectively.
This is an exciting time in health, particularly given the national discussion of health care reform. The health care system still faces many challenges, namely a critical shortage of nurse leaders. Join us, and learn how you can help be the answer.
