CSON Students Present Research at Symposium

The Boston College Undergraduate Research Symposium features panel and poster presentations by students, with results of projects they have undertaken during the previous year.
Shaina Kulbersh ’14, presented a poster with the results of her exploration of the motivations for binge eating behaviors in college-age students. Kaitlin McMenamy ’14, and Brooke Hopkins ’14, created a joint poster presentation to summarize the impact of a 20-minute session of massage and relaxation techniques on nurses overall job satisfaction.
During a panel on Health Issues Across the World, Cindy Cao ’14, reported results from a four-week service visit to Vietnam, with the goal of understanding their healthcare structures, functions, and outcomes while testing the validity of a US HIV intervention program. Kelly Ann DiStefano ’15, reported about her trip to Nepal, India, where she had the opportunity to learn about labor and delivery practices in a non-traditional setting.
