Kelly-Weeder elected to national organization
Community Health Assistant Professor Susan Kelly-Weeder was elected to the National Academies of Practice (NAP). She will be working with other health care providers as a part of an interdiciplinary group to improve health outcomes of those seeking medical attention through education, conversation, and lobbying lawmakers.
Kelly-Weeder was chosen because of her background in working to make significant advances to practice and health outcomes for the patients she sees and through her teaching of family nurse practitioner students.
NAP is a non-profit organization committed to advising public policy makers on health care issues. It is made up of practitioners and scholars in ten different health professions.
