Jane Flanagan was recently named to the editorial board of the Journal of Nursing and Healthcare of Chronic Illness.
The Journal of Nursing and Healthcare of Chronic Illness is an international peer-reviewed journal for nurses and health care professionals across disciplines who care for people with chronic illness throughout the lifespan. The journal publishes original research articles, literature reviews, policy reports and analyses, case reports, and descriptions of professional practice initiatives in support of integrating theory and practice in the area of chronic illness.
An assistant professor of nursing at the William F. Connell School of Nursing, Flanagan also holds appointments as a faculty associate scientist at the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Yvonne Munn Center for Nursing Research and as an associate clinical scientist at the Phyllis Cantor Center at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Additionally, she is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an adult nurse practitioner and maintains a clinical practice as a nurse practitioner at Massachusetts General Hospital in the Clinical Research Center. Flanagan’s area of interests include patient and family experiences of chronic illness.
