First year masters entry student Ashley Younger has won this years Ethos essay competition, sponsored by Boston College's Student Bioethics Research Journal and the Mendel Society of Boston College. Younger wrote her essay about female foeticide in India and the use of ultrasonography. As a result of this award, the article will be published in Ethos, the Student Bioethics Research Journal, and Younger was given the opportunity to present the topic at the BC Bioethics conference, which was held in February.
