In light of increasing faculty shortages in nursing and other disciplines of higher education, the need for strong academic leaders is essential. Todays scholars will undoubtedly be called upon to mentor future students and accept leadership roles within their given specialties and in academic settings. Leadership skills, professional experience, and a clear vision for the future will be some of the ingredients for success. The speakers will highlight appropriate leadership skills, which will ensure a strong future for our professional educational system.
