Using a variety of criteria such as tuition, financial aid, admission rate, graduation rate, class size, and students' ratings, out of more than 500 nursing schools across the United States, Boston College's William F. Connell School of Nursing has been ranked #7 among Nursing Schools nationwide on College Resource Network for the year 2015 - 2016.
Since graduating from the MSE program in 2005, Dr. Alane O' Connor has since joined a family practice in Maine, completed her DNP at Vanderbilt, and has done a tremendous amount of work regarding the study of pregnant women and substance abuse. She has recently helped develop a healthier alternative to opiods called Subutex which, in large doses, does not produce as adverse effects on the newborn child.
Dr. Sara Looby, CSON Alumna, was one of six people who were awarded the 2016 Claflin Distinguished Scholars Award by MGH.
