The TELL portfolio provides documentation of each graduate student's acquisition of state-recommended skills and knowledge for Teachers of ELLs.
Title III graduate students are highly encouraged to create electronic portfolios (e-portfolios) which provide more extensive options for artifacts (e.g., video clips of instruction occurring, scanned portions of student work, audio recordings of students speaking English, etc.). Beyond its use as an accountability instrument, the portfolio will be useful to TELL (Teaching English Language Learners) Certificate Program students in their future professional job searches. Finally, the creation of e-portfolios also serves to add to each student's skills in the use of technology.
