Lauren Chapman
November 2007 – Dr. Kathy Rhoades, Lauren Chapman and Dr. Joseph Pedulla had a paper accepted at the Hawaii Conference on Education, entitled “E-Learning for Educators: Examining Impacts on High Need Schools.”  Lauren Chapman will be presenting at the conference in January, 2008.

November 2007 - Lauren Chapman and Maureen Kavanaugh, and Dr. Jeanne Hubelbank presented a poster paper, “Learning about Use and Evaluation,”at the American Evaluation Association's November 2007 Conference.   The paper shares the experiences of teaching and learning about evaluation in ED467, Curriculum and Program Evaluation.  It concentrates on evaluation use and how understanding of it was translated into practical evaluation activities. 

Carolyn Fidelman
April 2007.  AERA Annual Meeting and Exhibition.  (Ph.D. Candidate at time of award) Carolyn Fidelman’s paper, “Impact of Student Disposition Toward Course Evaluations on Course Ratings: A Pilot Study,” won the AERA Survey Research in Education SIG Graduate Student Award.

April 2007 - AERA Annual Meeting and Exhibition: Yun Xiang had two presentations at the AERA conference in Chicago 1) “Why Did Teachers Stay, Move or Leave: A Practical Application of Rasch Model in Teacher Professional Satisfaction” and 2) “The Locus of Teacher Professional Development in Two Nationwide Teacher Surveys: A Comparative Study.”
