2007-2008 Grace Street Church - Assist in teaching a Sunday School class for elementary school-aged children on a monthly basis.

2007 American Cancer Society Relay for Life - Captain for the "Walkie Talkies," a team of graduate students from BC.

2006-2007 Service and Spirituality Committee Co-Chair - Graduate Student Association (GSA) at BC. Cultivated a community among graduate students by coordinating a major annual service event called Grads Give Back Day as well as a lunch discussion about issues pertaining to spirituality and its role in graduate students’ lives.

2006-2007 English as a Second Language teacher at St. Columbkille's School - Instructed family members of students enrolled at the school by providing free ESL instruction in a safe environment.  Contributed to establishing a home-school connection for people from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

Participate and volunteer at various BC events including the Lynch School Graduate Research Forum and the ISPRC Diversity Challenge Conference.
