Maryam JeriganMaryam Jernigan
Recognized by the 2008 International Counseling Psychology Conference as one of 14 individuals receiving the inaugural “Many Faces of Counseling Psychology” award. Awardees are recognized as doing innovative, creative, and adaptive work to bring a critical focus to  strength-based, developmental, and preventive approaches to psychological issues. Ms. Jernigan will be recognized at the 2008 International Counseling Psychology Conference in March in Chicago.

In addition, Ms. Jernigan has just been awarded the 2008 APA/APAGS Award for Distinguished Graduate Student in Professional Psychology administered by the Board of Professional Affairs for the American Psychological Association. The award recognizes a graduate student who has demonstrated outstanding practice and application of psychology through performance in working with an underserved population in an applied setting or has developed an innovative method for delivering health services to an underserved population. 

Jong Park
Graduate student nominee for the George Thompson Memorial Scholarship ($1000) offered annually through the Massachusetts School Counselors Association (MASCA), granted to Massachusetts graduate students who are currently enrolled in a school counseling program.
