Degree Programs
Non-Degree Program (Special Student Status)
Students who are not seeking a degree but who have an interest in pursuing course work at the graduate level may apply for admission as a non-degree student. Visit this page for more information about the non-degree program or contact our admissions assistant, Cynthia Mohammed.
Fifth Year Program (for BC Undergraduates)
The Fifth Year Program offers academically outstanding Boston College juniors
a unique opportunity to begin graduate study during their undergraduate senior
year, allowing them to graduate with a bachelor's and master's degree in five
years.
All undergraduate juniors are

Dual-Degree Programs
Applicants interested in one of our dual programs must file two separate applications, one to the Lynch School and one to the other unit, following the guidelines, observing the application deadlines, and meeting the application requirements established by each unit. In order to enter into a dual-degree program, applicants must first be admitted to both schools.

Urban Education
Boston College is committed to urban education in the both
the surrounding neighborhoods and global community. Through the Lynch School’s
extensive partnerships and associations, there are many ways to become involved
and exposed to urban education.

Catholic Leadership Program
The Lynch School of Education and the School of Theology and Ministry have partnered to offer joint degree programs in Catholic Educational Leadership across the educational spectrum, from schools K–12 to institutions of higher education.
