Mary Ellen Fulton
associate dean for finance, research, and administration
Mary Ellen Fulton has served as Associate Dean for Finance, Research, and Administration of the Lynch School of Education at Boston College for over 15 years. In her role she is responsible for the development and implementation of financial and administrative policies and procedures, and oversight of the Lynch School’s financial and budgeting activities. During her time as associate dean she has also served as the University Harassment Counselor and an adjunct faculty member at the Carroll School of Management.
Prior to joining the Lynch School, Fulton held a number of positions in both higher education and the business sector. She has over thirty years of professional experience in management, marketing, strategic planning, and administrative roles.
Fulton holds both a B.A. and M.B.A. from Boston College. She is also an alumna of the HERS Wellesley College Management Institute for Women in Higher Education. She is involved in a host of community activities, and has served on the boards of several local organizations. She is currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Saint Joseph Preparatory High School in Brighton, Massachusetts.
