City Connects works with more than 700 community partners who provide services, resources, and enrichment opportunities to children and families. We believe that as rich as the community services are, they are most effective when they are tailored to the individual needs of students.

Our community partners report a very high level of satisfaction with City Connects.

The Empowering Children with Hope and Opportunity (ECHO) Program is a partnership between the Center for Catholic Education at the University of Dayton and Dayton, Ohio-area Catholic schools. Its goal is “to establish and support a healthy learning environment in each classroom so that children are unencumbered by the stresses of everyday life and are able to focus and learn.” ECHO serves more than 1,400 students in six schools, providing services such as counseling, health screenings, violence prevention and personal safety programs, and training for school teachers and administrators. ECHO (formerly the UCDRC) has been a City Connects partner for four years and provided over 320 students with assistance during the 2015-16 school year!

"City Connects helped bring programs around the school's community together to work on achieving a common goal. It led every program to better understand each other and understand students' specific needs." - Boston Community Partner
