You can view all of the course offerings and descriptions for Lynch School of Education online.

Q. How do I view course offerings for a particular semester?

Sign into Agora and select Course Offering Schedule. From the select a school dropdown menu, select Lynch School of Education. You can then set the search criteria for Fall or Spring term, day of the week, title keywords and/or instructor's last name.

Q. How should I select appropriate graduate classes?
Following acceptance into the Lynch School, you should meet with your academic advisor (identified in the acceptance letter or shortly thereafter by the Department Chair) at their earliest convenience. Your advisor will assist in the initial design and, if necessary, later modification of your Program of Studies.

Q. How do I register for classes?

Please note that you will need course numbers and index numbers to register. First, sign into Agora and choose Course Offering Schedule from the menu to get course and index numbers and course schedules. From the select a school dropdown menu, select Lynch School of Education. You can then set the search criteria for Fall or Spring term, day of the week, title keywords and/or instructor's last name.

Once you have received the list of courses from the database, click on the linked course numbers on the left to receive a detailed course description. As you choose the courses for which you would like to register, please keep in mind that some courses may have limited enrollment. It is a good idea to keep a list of second and third choices, in case you are unable to register for your first choice. Make sure to write down all the course and index numbers for the courses you choose.

Q. Where do I purchase my books?

The Boston College Bookstore is located on the first floor of McElroy Commons. You can either select your books in person or place an order through the Bookstore’s website.
