St. Columbkille School Inc. is a collaborative effort between Boston College, the Archdiocese of Boston, and St. Columbkille Parish to strengthen the existing St. Columbkille School by drawing upon the resources of the Lynch School, best practices in American elementary education, and the guidance of Catholic educational, social, and religious principles in order to continue offering a Catholic, parish-based education for children in the Allston-Brighton section of Boston.
The school currently serves 295 students in grades pre-K through 8. The faculty and staff include fourteen full-time faculty, six classroom aides, one full-time office support staff and one full-time facilities manager. All current faculty are licensed or in the process of licensure and have earned graduate degrees or are in the process of earning graduate degrees.
