Financial aid opportunities related to catholic education:
- Boston College High School, Nativity Prep High School - any teacher, administrator or staff who is graduate level, can receive a voucher for each course they wish to take. This is unlimited and approved/funded via the Provost Office. The vouchers come through the Graduate Student Services Office first for verification of enrollment, registration, etc. These vouchers may also be used for other schools but main purpose is grad degrees in Education.
- Newton Country Day School - Community Affairs office issues 1.5 credit vouchers.
- Urban Catholic Teacher Corps - for Master's candidates - housing provided - stipend - full tuition. More on this program from Karen Kennedy.
- Dual Degree program students MA/MA Pastoral Ministry/Counseling receive funds from IREPM while taking Theology courses and they receive small award from the MA Counseling program for Education courses as well as CSLP if awarded.
- Any school, public or parochial, that hosts our practicum students receives a 3 credit voucher for each B.C. student teacher. If the cooperating teacher doesn't use it, it's redistributed within that school or district.
- Lynch School Catholic Educator Award - This need-based award is intended to provide assistance to people who are working in and/or have a firm commitment to work in Catholic schools. Application
