Vision Services

boston college campus school

The Campus School offers services to students with visual impairments through direct therapy, small group sessions, and consultations by a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI). The TVI works directly with some students on an individual basis, develops and oversees small group instruction conducted by classroom staff, and consults to all the classrooms. The TVI/Intensive Special Education consultant provides individual functional vision assessments, conducts staff trainings on visual impairment issues, orders individual and classroom vision materials, and assists in registering appropriate students with the Vision Resource Library.
