Procedure for Applying as a Summer Student
If you have not yet taken a graduate course at Boston College, you may do so by filing an online application for non-degree status. Please note that all that is required of our summer applicants is the contact information (in the Personal Information section) and the degree and program/concentration information (in the Applicant Information section).
If you are one of Boston College’s cooperating teachers and will be using a voucher to pay for the class, please select the concentration, “Voucher.”
All other applicants for non-degree status select “Non-degree” as the concentration. You may complete this application at any time prior to the start of Summer School, but it is preferable to submit it as soon as possible so that you will be set to register for classes. Some classes fill quickly, so earlier registrations tend to be more successful.
Once you have selected your class(es), please email the course number(s) to lsadmissions@bc.edu using the Subject Line of Summer Registration. We will register you for the class(es) and send you a confirmation.
