Brittany Apple
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 2006
Brittany has been working with The Ludden Group, a private counseling group that provides counseling, IQ testing, achievement testing, and clinical evaluations for clients ages 3 and older. Currently supervised and gaining post-masters hours toward LPC licensing in Texas, she works with nursing homes and group homes to counsel and develop behavioral intervention plans for clients who need assistance with daily living.

Amanda Bohlig
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 2004
Following graduation, Amanda worked as a Project Director in Dr. Mendes' Social Psychology lab at Harvard University where she collaborated on psychophysiology research focused on the consequences of stigma and prejudice. Since Fall of 2005, Amanda has been the Programs and Outreach Coordinator for NAMI-New York City Metro, one of the largest affiliates of the National Alliance on Mental Illness providing community education and multicultural outreach. Amanda will be attending the doctoral program in Counseling Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in the fall of 2007.

Marcus Cherry
M.A. School Counseling, 1994
Initially working as a psychiatric emergency clinician after graduation, Marcus completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Boston College in 2001. Since earning his doctoral degree, Marcus has been a Staff Child Psychologist at Children's Hospital in Boston and holds an academic appointment as Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School. He is also an adjunct instructor in the Lynch School of Education, and a consultant to Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts.

Waidehi Gokhale
M.A. School Counseling, 1999
Waidehi worked as a counselor at Melrose Public High School for 4 years after graduation. She then completed a Master's in International Law & Diplomacy at the Fletcher School. She now works at the crossroads of the two fields as an International Projects Manager with War Child Canada - an organization committed to the protection and assistance of children whose lives are impacted by armed conflict.

Alexandra Hogan
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 2006
After completing her clinical internship with the Needham Youth Commission, Alex returned as a full time clinician following graduation. She provides individual and family counseling to youth ages 5-25 and their families, and is often in the Needham public schools leading groups or presenting psycho-educational material to classes. Alex addresses topics such as substance abuse, loss, suicide, body image, internet safety, bullying, and sexual harassment in her outreach. When not busy with clinical work, Alex oversees a Peer Tutoring Program and writes for a youth related advice column in the Needham Times.

Kimberly A. S. Howard,
M. A. Mental Health Counseling, 1996
Kimberly completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2001 at Boston College. She was initially a Visiting Assistant Professor at University of Wisconsin - Madison, running a prevention program in a Milwaukee public high school, and was a lecturer in the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at Marquette University. Since 2003, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She coordinates their school counseling track, and is currently Chair of the Masters in Counseling program. Her research interests include the examination of the career development process of diverse, low-income, and immigrant children and youth.

Ben Locke
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 1998
Ben completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology in 2002 at Boston College. Currently, he is the Assistant Director for Research and Technology at Penn State's Counseling and Psychological Services. Ben also serves as the national coordinator of the Center for the Study of College Student Mental health working to create a national research infrastructure for counseling centers. In his spare time, Ben runs www.PsychData.com, a web-based survey service for social science researchers.

Seth Nable
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 2006
Seth is a Human Resources Specialist at OnProcess Technology in Ashland Massachusetts. He is responsible for aiding in the development, design, and implementation of new and ongoing Human Resource initiatives within the areas of information/learning, structure, strategic processes, leadership, work environment/culture, training and development, team development, and core work processes.

Michelle Pilat
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 2006
Michelle has been working with Dare Family Services as a Family Stabilization and Support Clinician since graduation in May 2006. Her outreach work involves counseling children, adolescents and their families who are often involved with the Department of Social Services and in need of intensive in-home services. Through this position, she works collaboratively with other professionals in the mental health, medical and education fields. She has enjoyed the opportunity to help support and encourage individuals of various ages and families of various backgrounds.

Nicole Vance LPC, LMHC
MA Mental Health Counseling, 1997
Since graduating, Nicole has held positions including outpatient mental health therapist, school therapist at the Massasoit School, and Coordinator of Clinical Services for Granite Academy, a therapeutic high school located in Braintree, Massachusetts. She has also pursued post graduate study in the counseling program at Johns Hopkins University. Currently, Nicole is employed as a Counseling and Prevention Specialist for the Center for Student Support Services in Washington, D.C. She maintains professional counseling licenses in both Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.

Kristin Ward
M.A. Mental Health Counseling, 2006
Kristen has been working in Phoenix, Arizona since graduation as a behavioral consultant for Counseling & Consulting Services. She works with children and families in their homes and in schools to provide individual, group, family and couples therapy, as well as provides consultations to parents and providers. She enjoys working with families from various backgrounds, as well as children with a multitude of disorders and behavioral issues.
