Boston College, a member of the Massachusetts Educational Recruiting Consortium (MERC), encourages its graduate students and alumni interested in careers within education to attend the MERC Job Fair, which will host over 100+ schools and districts from Massachusetts and across the country. The event will be held in the Cabot Center at Northeastern University. There is no cost to attend.

Patrick Downes graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Human Development from the Lynch School of Education. He and his wife, Jessica Kensky, were severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombing, and both are now amputees. They participated in the HBO documentary “Marathon” to help people understand the complexity and nuances of recovery after tragedy. Downes will participate in the Park Street Corporate Speaker Series that will be hosted in Gasson Hall, Room 100.

Boston College Career Center will host 60 educational and social service organizations at its upcoming career fair. The employers in attendance seek Boston College undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni for positions, ranging from summer opportunities to full-time employment and including teaching and non-teaching jobs as well as teaching jobs that do not require certification.
Saturday, April 1
The Office of Graduate Admission welcomes accepted students to visit Boston College, learn more about the programs, and meet faculty as well as current students!
