Endowed Chairs Colloquium Series

The Endowed Chairs Colloquium Series will feature Dr. A.J. Franklin, Nelson Professor of Counseling, Educational, and Developmental Psychology. Dr. Franklin will present "The Impact of Inequalities upon the African American Community" in Campion Hall, Room 139.

Higher Education Interview Day

The Higher Education Department welcomes accepted students of the higher education programs to campus for on-campus interviews with employers from Boston College and other institutions within the Boston area that seek graduate assistants and interns for the upcoming academic year. The Department will send higher education candidates more information about the Interview Day process by mid to late January. (Event open to higher education candidates only.)

Recovery: The Making of HBO's 'Marathon: The Patriots Day Bombing'

Thursday, February 23

Patrick Downes graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Human Development from the Lynch School of Education. He and his wife, Jessica Kensky, were severely injured in the Boston Marathon bombing, and both are now amputees. They participated in the HBO documentary “Marathon” to help people understand the complexity and nuances of recovery after tragedy. Downes will participate in the Park Street Corporate Speaker Series that will be hosted in Gasson Hall, Room 100.
