APALSA has established numerous programs to assist BCLS law students, such as peer-to-peer and practitioner-to-student mentoring, Q & A career panels, networking receptions, and an annual Spring Banquet. APALSA sponsors colloquia and film presentations, such as the recent Fred Korematsu film screening and lecture, to raise awareness of APA-related national and international law issues. APALSA also maintains an income tax assistance program in Chinatown as well as an elementary school tutoring program in order to encourage community involvement and service.
