In conjunction with other law schools that belong to our consortia, Boston College Law School holds off-campus interviewing programs in New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington, DC. These programs are designed as a convenience for prospective employers who are unable to travel to Boston, enabling them to interview a wide range of students at one time in a single location.

Reception Information
The Boston College New York Chapter cordially invite the BC Law Students participating in the New York City job program to attend a reception the evening of Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

This is the sixth year that we have had a New York reception. The event provides a wonderful opportunity to meet our alumni who are practicing in New York. The alumni can offer advice about the practice in the City as well as offer tips about the recruiting process and help you informally prepare for the interviews the next day. There will be hors d'oeuvres and beverages. The dress is business casual (on the more formal side).

It is possible to walk from one interview to the next (for all but one of the employers are located on Peachtree), but please be aware of time.
Marta is the subway system in Atlanta. Please see your Career Services Office for an Atlanta subway map. The subway fare, one-way, is $1.75. You can purchase multi packs of tokens (10 tokens for $17.50 at all Marta stations and packs of 20 tokens for $30.00 are available ONLY at the Airport and Five Points stations. If you would prefer taking cabs, most employers are located nearby to hotels and you can usually find a cab in front of hotels. If not, call either Buckhead Safety Cab at 404-875-3777 or Checker Cab at 404-351-1111 directly.
