Career Services at BC Law
Where Our Students Are Employed
The Career Services Office assists students and alumni in identifying their talents and finding meaningful employment. We offer over 130 career development programs throughout the academic year. Our signature program, 1L Bootcamp, sets the stage with early professional skill development and significant practitioner and practice area exposure. At the heart of what we do is work one-on-one with every student who walks through our door. Nearly 2,000 hours of career counseling is spent by our team each year.
Public Service and Pro Bono Careers
Public service has always been a central part of the BC Law experience. The school supports a wide array of educational, pro bono, and student activities designed to create opportunities for students to use their legal skills to support underserved communities.
Services for Alumni
BC Law alumni are passionate about their commitment to helping current students. Nearly every week, alumni are on campus to help out with programming. The Career Services Office is there to assist our alumni as well, from career advice to a revitalized job search during a career change.
Post-Graduate Clerkships and Judicial Internships
One of the most prestigious experiences law students seek are judicial clerkships. Working with a judge as a clerk or intern provides opportunities to gain indispensable insights and skills that are transferable into many areas of legal practice.
