The Boston College Law School International Program is committed to a leadership
role in the integrated study and practice of justice in international law. To
fulfill this mission, BC Law:
• trains the lawyers of today and tomorrow to meet the challenges and
seize the opportunities that globalization affords for the delivery of justice
locally, nationally, and internationally; and
• fosters understanding of the effects of globalization on the delivery
of justice through research, scholarship, conferences, and other professional
exchanges in the marketplace of ideas.
BC Law implements this mission by:
• offering our students a broad array of courses in international and
comparative law responsive to the real-world practice needs of today and tomorrow;
• delivering a comprehensive international and comparative law program,
including hands-on term-time and summer components, that are both academically
enriching and create meaningful career entry points; and
• effectuating our Jesuit mission of social justice and the moral imperative
that comes in large part from our identity as a Catholic institution of higher
learning.
