WLC Names Zucker '94 'Woman of the Year'

Newton, MA--The Women's Law Center has named Ellen Zucker '94 as their 2013 Woman of the Year Award recipient.
Zucker is a former law clerk for federal district court judge Nancy Gertner, and a current partner at Burns & Levinson LLP. As a trial lawyer, she recently won a $7 million settlement in a sex discrimination case against Beth Israel Hospital. Zucker is also the former local chapter president of the National Organization for Women.
The WLC Awards Ceremony will take place on Monday, April 8th, 2013, at 6 p.m. in the Law School's Barat House.
The purposes of the WLC are to provide the law school community with programs and events concerning women in law and society; to provide a forum for feminist political activism; and to be a resource for women entering the legal profession.
