"The finals competition went very well," said Director of Advocacy Programs Alexis Anderson. "We had some very talented students who competed in a very hard-fought and spirited competition. I'd like to thank our judges, and the members of the BSA who worked so hard to put this together."
In addition to adjunct faculty member Ilana Hurwitz and visiting faculty member Reginald Alleyne, the judges panel included Professor Roger Fisher, co-author of path-breaking negotiation primer Getting to Yes. Fisher consults regularly on domestic and international negotiations.
The four teams that competed on Tuesday for the chance to represent BC at the ABA regional are:
Team 14 - Ross Firsenbaum and Scott LaFranchi
Team 24 - Allen O'Neil and Ward Olivete
Team 32 - Patrick Jackson and Ellen King

"A well deserved congratulations is due to all the teams," added Anderson. "They all performed with intelligence and professionalism, and our winners will continue to do so in the regionals."
