The Law Library maintains four computing facilities for use by the Boston College Law School community. New workstations were installed in all of the computing facilities during the summer of 2003.

The Campus Technology Resource Center (CTRC) located in the O'Neill Library (Room 250) on the Chestnut Hill campus is also available for use by law students. Your BC ID EagleOne card is required.
The Brian P. Lutch Computer Center is the Law Library's main Computer Center. It is located on Level 3 in Room 300. The Computer Center is primarily a facility for individual student use, but may at times be reserved by the Law Library staff for training and educational programs. Every effort will be made to give advance notice of times when the Computer Center will be unavailable.
- 3 Power Macintosh G4 workstations (specifications)
- 26 Dell Optiplex GX260 workstations (specifications)
- 3 networked laser printers (Xerox DocuPrint N4525)
- 1 Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4000 printer (laptop printer station)
- 1 Macintosh and 1 IBM have been equipped for both image and text (OCR) scanning. These workstations have ScanSoft OmniPage Pro, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe PageMaker, and Photoshop installed.
- Printing from laptops is possible to the Xerox DocuPrint N4525 Network Laser Printers in the computing facilities. Printer Drivers are necessary and are available on line from Xerox.

The Fleet Legal Research Lab is located on Level 2 in Room 253. It is the Law Library's main instructional facility. Faculty and staff use of the lab is arranged with the Library Education and Reference staff by calling the Information Desk (x2-4434). Due to the high level of use of this lab as a teaching facility, the Legal Research Lab is not open for individual student use unless demand for computing resources warrants it.

Computer Assisted Learning Centers - Room 153 is reserverd for legal research or technology training classes.
Computer Assisted Learning Centers - Room 155 is available for individual student use when not reserved for legal research or technology training classes. Each week a schedule of planned classes will be posted on the doors of both rooms. Room 153 has a direct phone connection to Lexis Support.
