CALI - Computer Assisted Legal Instruction

Boston College Law School is a member of the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction ("CALI", which provides computer-based exercises in numerous law school subjects. The CALI Library of Lessons is a collection of over 300 interactive lessons covering 28 legal education subject areas developed by Law Professors and Librarians.

CALI lessons are available to currently enrolled Boston College Law School students via a variety of options:

  • Ask for your own personal CD-ROM at the Information Desk and run the lessons directly from the CD or install the lessons on the CD to your personal computer. CD's are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Dowload the lessons for free from CALI's web site.
  • Access the lessons and run them via the CALI website.

WEB ACCESS
The first time that you access the CALI website you will need to register. The registration process requires that you input an authorization code.
This code is e-mailed to all currently enrolled students at the start of the school year.

1. Click on the link "Not a Registered User Yet?"
2. Enter the student authorization code.
3. Complete the form and choose your own password.

In subsequent visits, you will only need to enter your email address and your password.
