Computer Labs

The Law Library maintains four computing facilities for use by the Boston College Law School community.

All Computer Labs are Food & Drink Free Zones.
Computer Labs close 30 minutes before the library closes.

The Law Library computer labs offer both Windows and Apple computers with the most popular software installed such as the latest version of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Reader, Chrome and Firefox. All computers in the Law Library are set to launch the Law Library webpage upon log-in.

  • Brian P. Lutch Computer Center

The Brian P. Lutch Computer Center is the Law Library's main Computer Center. It is located on Level 3 in Room 300. The Computer Center is primarily a facility for individual student use, but may at times be reserved by the Law Library staff for training and educational programs. Every effort will be made to give advance notice of times when the Computer Center will be unavailable.

  • Law Library Computing Classrooms
    • Fleet Legal Research Lab, Room 253
    • Computer-Assisted Learning Centers, Rooms 153 & 155

The Law Library Computing Classrooms are reserved for legal research or technology training classes.  Faculty and staff use of the computing classrooms is arranged with the Library's Education and Reference staff by calling 617-552-2971.
