CALI - Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction: Faculty Information
The Boston College Law School is a member of the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction ("CALI"), which provides computer-based exercises in numerous law school subjects such as evidence, civil procedure and professional responsibility. The CALI lessons are available to currently enrolled BC Law students on the law school’s computer network, via a CD-ROM that students may check out from the Information Desk or via free download from CALI’s web site. In addition, some lessons can be completed on the web at http://lessons.cali.org/catalog.html. The CD is also available for purchase from the CALI web site.
To obtain BC Law's CALI password, please contact the Information Desk. The library’s contract with CALI specifies that these passwords must not be shared with anyone outside the Boston College Law School community.
Law school faculty members receive from CALI a CD-ROM with the CALI lessons, as well as CALI’s authoring system that enables faculty to create their own CALI lessons.
General questions about CALI should be directed to your Faculty/Library contact, or to ATR at 617-552-2604.
