    BACKGROUND

Professor Berry has written articles and casebooks on sports and entertainment law. He teaches Contracts, Regulation of Professional Athletics and Entertainment Law. He is a frequent television and radio commentator on sports law and contract issues.

Presentations: “The Sportin’ Life and the Law: 1972-2007”. Talk at Stanford Law School, February 2007.

“Impact of the NHL Lockout: Current Developments in Sports Collective Bargaining.” Chair of panel and speaker at annual Sports Lawyers Association meeting, Toronto, Canada, June, 2006.

Activities: Interviews on ESPN and other media concerning current issues in professional and amateur sports, such as Maurice Clarett versus the NFL.

Continue to consult on such matters as baseball salary arbitrations.

Other: Featured in the cover article entitled "Face-Off!" in the December 2000 issue of Corporate Counsel Magazine. As a member of a panel of experts in sports law formed to discuss the state of professional sports today, Berry is extensively quoted in the section titled "How to Get into Sports Law."
