Joseph M. Barich '98 Promoted To Partner
Joseph M. Barich '98 has recently been appointed to partner status at McAndrews, Held & Malloy, Ltd., specializing in intellectual property and complex technology law. Joseph M. Barich primarily focuses on the development of patent portfolios for revenue generation and cross-licensing, including the prosecution of approximately 300 patent applications in the U.S. and abroad. He especially enjoys working with technologies such as wireless and land-based communications systems, networking and internet-related applications, computer and semiconductor devices, and business methods. Barich earned both bachelor of science and master of science degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, and graduated from Boston College Law School. He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
