William J. Hanlon '87 was appointed Bankruptcy Section Co-chair of Boston Bar Association. The Bankruptcy Law Section is an active 300 ember section, which conducts monthly continuing legal education seminars, outreach programs and legal clinics, produces a bi-monthly substantive newsletter and hosts a well-attended conference every spring.
Mr. Hanlon is a member of the Business Services Department and co-chair of
the Bankruptcy, Workout and Business Reorganization Practice Team at the law
firm of Schnader Harrison Goldstein & Manello. He is also a member of the
firms Intellectual Property, Real Estate and Financial Services practice
groups. Mr. Hanlon concentrates his practice in the representation of debtors,
secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders and trustees in Chapter 11 proceedings
and adversary proceedings, and in commercial litigation and insolvency related
matters. He is actively involved in securitization, particularly issuance of
bankruptcy nonconsolidation
opinions.
Mr. Hanlon received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School.
