BC Law Magazine chronicles the life of Boston College Law School with articles about the people, programs, and legal endeavors that make this one of America’s leading professional academies. Full of news, features, and commentary, the alumni magazine helps readers stay in touch with the Law School community in all its variety. Articles examine timely legal issues, quoting BC Law scholars, alumni, and friends who are authorities on given subjects. Stories capture the enterprise of student leaders and probe the findings of new faculty research. Profiles offer a closer look at the men and women who are on the cutting edge of legal theory or testing the boundaries of constitutional law or creating model public interest programs. The magazine also contributes to the larger public debate with general interest pieces on timely legal matters.
BC Law Magazine is published twice a year, in January and June. Inside, readers can find, among the regular features, an address by Dean John Garvey, commentary by an esteemed faculty member, highlights of scholarly activity and research, alumni news and notices, and class notes. The magazine is now in its ninth year of publication and is under the direction of Editor Vicki Sanders.
