Teresa WalshState Assistant Attorney General Teresa J. Walsh ’87 remembers her first class with Professor Zygmunt Plater. "Zyg said, ‘Look around. Some of you will make a difference. Some of you will make a lot. Remember why you’re here and what you want.'"

Walsh has made a difference by serving two terms as co-chair of the Law School Fund (LSF). Her energetic leadership, with that of colleague Kevin Callanan ’67, propelled the Law School Fund beyond the $1 million mark last year.

This year, Walsh and current co-chair John Hanify ’74 are aiming for a record $1.25 million. “We’re optimistic,” says Walsh. “We’ve had terrific people do wonderful things in the past. We believe they will continue to do so.”
