Perju Named to Constitutional Reform Commission
Professor Vlad Perju has been appointed to serve on
an advisory commission that will present the President
with a vision for the country's constitutional reform.

Student Wins McGovern Award
Nicole Prairie (Class of 2009) has received the 2008
Honorable Sheila E. McGovern Fund Scholarship from
the Massachusetts Association of Women Lawyers.
Casey
Foundation Essay Tackles Juvenile Justice Reform
On June 12, the Annie E. Casey Foundation launched
its 2008 KIDS COUNT Data Book essay, "A Road
Map for Juvenile Justice Reform." The Juvenile
Rights Advocacy Project (JRAP) at Boston College Law
School is mentioned within the essay as an example
of what is needed to yield a far fairer and more efficient
juvenile justice system.

Receives Slizewski Teaching Award
Boston College Law School is pleased to announce that
Professor Paul Tremblay has received the 2008 Emil
Slizewski Excellence in Teaching Award.

Mukasey urged the graduates to use their skills to
find out what the law is, rather than confusing it
with what someone else might believe it to be.
