KargmanWilliam M. Kargman
President and CEO, First Realty Management Corp.; New England Investment Construction Corp

William M. Kargman is President and CEO of First Realty Management Corp. and also of New England Investment Construction Corp (NEICC). FRM, one of a handful of Accredited Management Organizations (AMO) firms in New England, currently manages a portfolio of some 6,000 apartments and condominiums in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.

Admitted for practice of law before the Massachusetts and Federal Bar, he is a member of the American Bar Association and is past president of the Rental Housing Association (RHA) of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, where he continues to serve as a Director.

He was a member of the National Housing Preservation Task Force responsible for identifying issues and solutions with respect to “expiring use” government-assisted housing and is a past President of the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA).  He is former chairman of the NAHMA Housing Production Committee, is past president of the Board of Trustees for the Riverview Condominium in Cambridge, Mass., and also served as President of the Board of Directors of the First Patriot Corp.  Most recently he was named a member of the Board of Overseers at the Mt. Auburn Hospital.

He earned his JD degree from Boston College Law School, his MBA degree from Columbia University, and his AB degree from Harvard College.  Prior to becoming involved in real estate management and development, he worked as a public defender attorney through the Massachusetts Defenders’ Committee from November 1967 to April 1972.

Don Keller, a partner and chair of the firm's Corporate Group in Silicon Valley, is a member of Orrick's Emerging Companies Group, which advises emerging companies, public companies, venture capital firms, and investment banks.  He focuses his practice on emerging growth companies, and has advised clients on more than sixty public offerings, seventy-five acquisition transactions, and several hundred venture financings.

James M. Kennedy

Divisional Executive VP/Secretary, THQ, Incorporated

James M. Kennedy was appointed the Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs in October 2004. From January 2003 to October 2004 he was the Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs. He has been the Corporate Secretary since August 2003.

From March 2000 to January 2003, Mr. Kennedy was an adjunct professor and lecturer at the undergraduate and law school levels in the San Francisco Bay Area. From July 1995 to March 2000, Mr. Kennedy was employed at Electronic Arts Inc., an entertainment software developer and publisher, serving initially as Assistant General Counsel and from November 1995 through March 2000 as Vice President of Business Affairs. From July 1989 to July 1995, Mr. Kennedy served in executive positions at a variety of entertainment and software companies, including Mindscape, Inc., Lucas Digital Ltd., and LucasArts Entertainment Company. Between September 1984 and July 1989, Mr. Kennedy was employed as an attorney with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.

Mr. Kennedy holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University, a J.D. from Boston College Law School, and an MBA in strategic leadership from Dominican University of California.
