Founder, Brendan J. Perry & Associates, P.C.

Brendan J. Perry married Mary C. (Shea) Perry in 1956.  They have four sons – Brendan M. (Technical Sales), Brian M. (Inventor), Christopher M. (Attorney) and Terance P. (Attorney).

Mr. Perry received the A.B. and A.M. Degrees in Biology from Boston University in the early fifties and a J.D. Degree from Boston College Law School in 1960.

During the span of the past 45 years Mr. Perry has been engaged in the general practice of Law as the Founder of Brendan J. Perry & Associates, P.C.  He is licensed by and has tried cases in all major Massachusetts Courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the United States Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.  Areas of interest include Municipal Law (especially zoning), real estate, medical malpractice, contract law and real estate development.  Mr. Perry owned, co–owned and constructed a number of residential and industrial developments.

In 1983, with the aid and assistance of four talented sons, Mr. Perry began a long and rewarding journey along the technology road.  With a borrowed $85,000 dollars, Mr. Perry, his four sons and a business associate started Interface Electronics Corp. (IEC), a franchised, regional company devoted to the sale, at wholesale, of electronic components, systems and subsystems to companies which dot Route 495 and Route 128.  The Company grew with branches along the east coast and three sales/purchasing offices in China and a sales/purchasing office in Taipei.  In the year 2000 gross sales exceeded $50,000,000 at which time the Company was sold to JACO Electronics Corp. (a NASDAQ listed electronic components company).

The experience gained at IEC led to further incursions into the technology arena.  Mr. Perry and sons formed a business–to–business software company in 2001 (Integrated Software Systems, LLC) and sold it in 2005 to IDEA, a wholly owned subsidiary of NEMA.  During the same time frame, they founded a hardware company Interface Systems Group, Inc. (ISG) devoted to receiving, modifying and distributing electronic hardware to retail facilities in the United States.  At present the primary client of ISG is TJ Maxx.  ISG populates, on an exclusive basis, all TJ Maxx stores including Marshalls and other subsidiaries, throughout the United States.  In 1999 Mr. Perry and his sons formed Elcommerce, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, devoted to the research, design and development of software products.  Brian M. Perry was the motivating force behind this endeavor and in May 2005 he was awarded Patent No: 6,947,903 entitled Method and System for Monitoring a Supply–Chain.  The Patent evolved from Brian's experience at IEC as Treasurer and COO, his academic experience in graduate school (IP) and his inter–relationships with a number of advanced level IP personnel in the field.  The Patent has been assigned by Brian to Elcommerce, Inc.  Among other business activities, Mr. Perry and his sons are now busily engaged in the in the marketing and sale of the Patent.

Mr. and Mrs. Perry, their sons and extended family spend leisure time during the summer months at their Cape home, enjoying boating, fishing, sunsets and Cape Cod air.
