The Boston College Graduate School of Social Work is pleased to welcome Scott D. Easton, who will join the Health & Mental Health Concentration faculty this fall. Scott is currently completing his dissertation, entitled "Men who were sexually abused during childhood: An examination of factors that influence long-term mental health," at the University of Iowa School of Social Work.
Scott earned an MSW from the University of Iowa with a concentration on family, and a Bachelor of Arts in American government and political philosophy from Harvard University. In 2007, Scott was a recipient of the John A. Hartford Pre-Dissertation Award. He was selected as a Hartford Doctoral Fellow in 2009.
Scott's understanding of Arab-American culture will greatly benefit the globally-focused programs at the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work.
