On June 17, leaders and partners from the public service sector, private sector, and academia engaged in a discussion around innovation and its practice in human service agencies. The event was co-sponsored by the Providers’ Council, Massachussetts Chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance and the Center for Social Innovation at Boston College. The event included an overview of the Leading the Way: Social Innovation in Massachusetts Human Services Report. The report is based on interviews with more than 20 human service organizations in Commonwealth that are practicing social innovation. Three agencies represented the report: Michael Moloney of Horace Mann Educational Associates, Yolanda Ortiz of Wayside Youth and Family Support Network, and Anne Wunderli of Pine Street Inn.
