Leadership: A Diasporan Diplomat's Reflections from Nigeria

Atim Eneida George is a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar and the International Career Advancement Program (ICAP). An accomplished diplomat, she has received individual and group Meritorious Honor Awards, two Superior Honor Awards, a Congressional Community Service Award and the American Foreign Service Association’s Harriman Award for “extraordinary contributions to the practice of diplomacy exemplifying zeal for creative accomplishment.”  Ms. George’s professional interests include promoting peace and international understanding.  She cares deeply about leveraging public policy to eradicate poverty, promote social justice and gender equity.

 

An SIL information meeting will be held after the speaker (1:30pm) where members of the first and second year SIL cohorts will have an opportunity to meet each other and ask questions of Professors’ Berzin and Dearing.
