We offer a Masters in Social Work (MSW) with a focus in either Clinical or Macro social work practice, with concentrations in:

    • Health/Mental Health
    • Children, Youth and Families
    • Older Adults and Families
    • Global Practice

The MSW may be completed in a full-time two-year curriculum or in a three-four year curriculum which is offered at our main Chestnut Hill campus as well as three off-campus locations: Worcester, MA, Portland, ME and Easton (Stonehill), MA.

You may also consider our dual degree programs:
    • MSW/JD
    • MSW/MBA
    • MSW/MA (Pastoral Ministry)

Current Boston College undergraduates who are completing their sophomore year of study may apply to the BA/MSW five-year program.

Advanced Standing opportunities are available to graduates of CSWE-Accredited Bachelor of Social Work programs.

Applicants interested in a career in social work research will find opportunities
through the PhD or MSW/PhD programs.
