Through the generosity of Santander Universities, Boston College School of Social Work, and partner universities, students in the International Doctoral Program in Social Welfare receive a five-year financial aid package worth more than $80,000 in U.S. Dollars. These fellowships provide a living stipend while the students are studying in Boston plus tuition remission for courses taken at Boston College.
Doctoral students are eligible for research and teaching assistantships. Some students are employed on faculty research projects while others hold formal part-time teaching appointments at Boston College and other Boston area colleges and universities. Students also receive mentoring on how to successfully compete for dissertation grants.
