Consortia & International Partnerships

Doctoral students can also explore diverse learning opportunities presented by other universities in Boston. Boston College also has affiliation agreements with outstanding universities in other parts of the world. Boston is known for its rich cultural environment and many world-renowned universities. Boston College belongs to a consortium of Boston Area Universities that also includes Boston University, Brandeis University and Tufts University. Doctoral students at Boston College can readily enroll in courses offered by doctoral programs at other Boston Area Consortium member universities.

International Study

Doctoral students in social work are encouraged to consider a semester abroad or similar arrangement with universities in other parts of the globe if such opportunities would enhance the student's scholarly development.
