Mason, the first Director of Field Education at the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work, the Breakfast is an opportunity for interns to thank supervisors for their significant contribution to the students' education. more »

Robbie Tourse will be receiving the NASW "Lifetime Achievement Award". Robbie was an administrator and faculty member at GSSW from 1980-2006. She served in various functions in the School's Field Office, first as a Coordinator, later as an Assistant Director, and finally as Director of Field Education. In her role as Adjunct Associate Professor she was a Faculty Advisor and taught courses such as "Racism, Oppression, & Cultural Diversity" and "HBSE".
Michelle Butman MSW '07 will be awarded by NASW the "2010 Greatest Contribution by a Social Worker with Five Years or Less Experience Award". Michelle has worked since 2007 as a program coordinator at TRACS, Transition Resources and Community Supports, a program of South Shore Mental Health.
The NASW Symposium 2010 awards luncheon will take place on Friday, April 16th at the Sheraton Framingham.
