UCDA exists to promote excellence in visual communications for educational institutions. Electronic Media entries in the UCDA Design Competition were judged for appearance, flexibility, interactivity and suitability for their intended audiences. Creativity in solving the problems of designing for electronic media was primary.
The GSSW website was designed by the GSSW Office of Marketing Communications in collaboration with Boston College Information Technology and an outside consultant. The site launched in February of 2009.
