As Boston College Graduate School of Social Work students and faculty prepared for the academic year ahead of them, twenty-eight students, faculty, and staff from GSSW came together at the Greater Boston Food Bank for an afternoon of service on September 15th. Volunteers from GSSW packed 3,500 pounds of food, enough to serve roughly 2,900 people.
A second team of GSSW volunteers that included twenty-three students, faculty, and administrators worked together for an afternoon of service at Cradles to Crayons, sorting and packing materials to be distributed to Boston area children.
