Certification Track
ma/med dual degree

The dual MA/MEd degree may be completed in either 3 summers and 2 Academic Years or 3 Academic Years. The certification track is designed for students interested in seeking state licensure as a superintendent or principal. To be eligible for state licensure as an administrator in Massachusetts, teacher licensure or three years of teaching experience is required. With this background, students in the dual MA/MEd working in public schools can broaden their theological foundations and pastoral skills while pursuing state licensure as an administrator.
